LCN series stainless steel oval gear flow meter is a kind of positive displacement flow meter, the medium which possesses a weak corrosiveness or a high hygiene level is required on in the food and chemical industries.oval gear flow meter applies to the measurement and control of fluid flow（total）in custody pipeline.it has been widely used in petroleum、oil products、chemical fiber、food and weak corrosive medium.
Structure & Principle
The oval gear flow meter mainly consist of an enclosure and a pair of oval gear in the enclosure, which form a cavity together with the cover plate and functions as the metering unit. The pressure differential rotate the oval gears and make the fluid flow from the inlet through the cavity to the outlet. The sealing and adjusting mechanism transmit the total number of revolution to the counter or displacer, the total volume went through the flow meter can be known. Four times volume of the cavity can be discharged when the main shaft rotate one revolution.
● High accuracy，large flow range、good repeatability;
● Simple structure、reliable operation;
● Insensitive to liquid viscosity variation. Suitable to high viscosity medium measurement;
● Flow state doesn’t affect the accuracy of measurement. Straight pipe is necessary for neither upstream nor downstream of flow meter.
